The anti-corrosive properties of Teflex for Metall® are the result of Teflex® stabilizing to form a thin molecular film on the metal surface being treated. The coating serves a dual purpose; the molecular film protects the metallic surface from coming into contact with oxygen and as a result the oxidation process that leads to corrosion, a.k.a rusting, is prevented. Furthermore, the film acts as an antimicrobial coating that prevents the possiblity of any microbial influence. In addition, because Teflex for Metall® is safe for the environment, humans and animals the product can be used on any pipeline, even those that come in contact with drinking water.

Teflex for Metall® is an economic product and should be used as a preventative measure in all underground pipelines in order to prevent biodegradation.The oxidation process that results in the rusting of underground pipelines is a very prominent and expensive problem that cannot be overlooked.
